How did they ever make a fair of Lolita? JoanApril 9, 2010Fashion & Beauty16 Comments80 views Just a quick post before the V 4 Vintage fair that takes place tomorrow. The theme is Lolita, and I have been thinking about an outfit, but still not sure about it. I have been in love with this dress when I bought it, a couple of summers ago. It’s from a Romanian designer, Kinga Varga, who does some of the prettiest and most feminine pieces of clothing, which perfectly embody her, sweet and adorable! Also, the dress could easily be the offspring of a fictional collaboration between Tsumori Chisato and Sonia Rykiel. So, what’s not to love? Well, as much as I continue to appreciate the dress, not sure how much it still suits my personality. The Lolita themed vintage fair does seem like an appropiate occasion to get the dress out again, yet we’ll see if I feel the same tomorrow. As I said, the dress is from Kinga Varga, the tights I found around the house and can’t really remember where they’re bought from. The shoes are from a no name shoe store in Corfu, Greece, though they where really cute at the time, but, surprise surprise, didn’t end up wearing them much. The umbrella was a last minute addition, due to the unexpected change of weather, and I love that it’s transperant and purple, got it from a cheap everything-for-1-euro store. And, as previously requested, here’s some new floral additions from the garden . . .
