I would love to win an invitation for me and my friend, especially since i’ll be in Bucharest on that exact day… she is passionate about fashion design and i really need to get back in touch with fashion, as life’s maze made me forget for a little while just how much i love it.. I would like to see more of the new comers, the young talented designers, enthusiastic and passionate about their work, encouraged to create wonderful things.

Being a fashion lover, and secretly dreaming about one day becoming a fashion designer, I had always envisioned myself attending such an incredible event at some point in my life.
Thinking that I might be able to turn this vision into reality sooner than I ever expected is almost surreal for me, but I would still like to share with you my fashion expectations for our Romanian fashion industry.
Looking through the pictures of the previous Gala Avanpremiere editions, I couldn’t help but wonder about how many talented designers our country has given birth to , whom existence I barely had an idea of so far. Even Lady Gaga knows more about Dinu Bodiciu (whose creations she has even worn) than most of our Romanians and I am afraid this is because of the poor exposure and lack of local marketing. Thankfully there is this amazing event, Avanpremiere, which takes a stand in the Romanian fashion scene by promoting the real talents and letting the world know that our country has so much to offer in terms of fashion, but sadly, it is always a matter of “branding”.
As an aspiring designer I need to hear more about our Romanian designers, I need to feel safer about my intention of pursuing such a career, to know that my country will receive me with opened arms and Gala Avanpremiere gives me this ray of hope and energy to never stop dreaming and believing that one day I will be able to be live this unique experience, whether as a humble fashion blogger, that I currently am, or as a future designer who I hope to become in the future.
So thank you, Fashezine for making me dream, through this post, about admiring LIVE Iris Serban’s futuristic and ethereal pieces or Natalia Vasiliev’s fairytale wedding dresses, thank you for making me dream about living such an empowering experience at Gala Avanpremiere 2012 anniversary edition !

Beauty…creativity…craftsmanship…strike of genius…hope…lust…dreams…expression…individuality…multiculturalism…border-less…and many more are the words which I appreciate of fashion and the universe creating it. Unlike Sara, who wrote just before me, and who seems to have a pretty good idea of what this universe is all about in Romania,… I am still discovering it day by day. And what better way to do so, than by going to this event to which you have been witness last year, if I’m not mistaken. It’ll be a great deal to learn and especially to share. In case you are giving both invitations to one reader – I would take my best friends who is at the moment searching for a path to choose in her life and has been lately drawn from the world of numbers to the world of Arts and Beauty, and I support her in her quest.
In case you pick two,…pick me (I want to see and learn and share)…and also pick Sara (and no, I don’t know her…but her passion is contagious).
