As promised before here I am today with a 'thank you so much for the birthday wishes' surprise: a young designer dress giveaway!
Even though I love a lot of already well-established brands as mush as the next person, I also cannot resist the allure of discovering the work of a young and talented new designer.
Thus it is my pleasure to be able to give you one of these two Lana dresses!
Both are custom digital printed 100% cotton and you might remember them from the In the nude, and Printed dreams posts. For more pictures of these very special dresses just go to Lana's website.
As for the rules, these are simple:
1. Follow my blog on Bloglovin' HERE, AND/OR on Google Friend Connect HERE. Those who are already following skip this part and just go to no.2
2. Write a comment saying which of the above dresses you would love to see in your closet :)

The giveaway will be open for 2 weeks, until the 1st of June.

Rochia nude e cea mai tare piesa vestimentara pe care am vazut-o pana acum.
Oh, wow, I've been in love with Lana's dresses ever since I saw them -I think a year ago on a website about cool hunting- but somehow I never got around to buying one(I'm blaming the long work hours and low salary).
I'm also torn between the 2 dresses- I mean 2 cats already picked their favorites and everyone knows cats have perfect taste- so I guess I'm going to make 2 posts detailing why I like each dress.
I like the dress with the traditional inspired print because it reminds me of the kitschy little table mats placed all over, including on the TV, in my great grandma's house. They're also reminiscent of those "I can sew" and "I can weave" kits that were the bane of my existence as a first and second grander. I also like the dress because it reminds me of the little house with traditional style curtains and geraniums in the windows. Sitting there the nicest, smiley-est kid I've ever met waved us good-bye as we left his sleepy Transylvanian village. And, last but not least, I like the dress because it is the preferred choice of the Siamese cat and if it's something almost 13 years with a Siamese in my house have taught me is that they're always right.
As for my second comment concerning the nude dress...
I like it because wearing it around gray,"uniform-wearing" Bucharest would be a huge statement of being different.
I like the dress because it's cheekier and sexier than any more revealing pieces of clothing. I also like that it manages to be sexy yet at the same time demure and that maybe it will manage to drive home the message that a naked body-in any shape- is a thing of beauty.
Lastly, I like the "nude" dress because if I ever win it I promise to take pictures of me wearing it in the uber-posh art gallery that will be my under-paying workplace until June 1. Kind of like a fuck the establishment gesture and artistic statement wrapped in one departure gift ;)
